How to pot up your Streptocarpus Plug Plants
When you receive your Streptocarpus plug plants, pot them into 10cm shallow pots using a fibre-based compost, leaving the root net intact. Position the top of the plug slightly above the level of the compost in the pot, shade the plant for the first few days, and expect 10 to 14 days for it to acclimatise before growing. Water lightly from above when the compost is dry to a 1cm depth. Because Streptocarpus prefer drier conditions, avoid regular overwatering, which damages roots.
