Begonia kellermanii

A medium sized shrub with white flowers through the late spring and summer. The leaves are thick and covered in a fine fuzz of white hairs, the young leaves are particularly attractive. Let the compost become slightly dry between watering. The almost round leaves are unusual for begonias in that they are peltate - the stem joins the leaf towards its centre.
