This is one of the most spectacular foliage begonias.The leaves are an elongated oval,dark green in colour with the central veins being a striking yellow with a bright green border.The flowers are white and covered in red hairs.

A beautiful challenge

I confess this is my third attempt at growing this Begonia. No complaints about Dibleys who have supplied a strongly grown plug as always. Its almost a month later and touch wood I'm doing quite well. Potted straight away into a 9cm pot and currently growing in a north facing window over a gravel tray and next to some African Violets. I may increase the light but avoid direct sunlight, as we move towards autumn.
