Begonia Caterpillar Damage

Caterpillar Damage

Caterpillars can cause significant harm to your Begonias, Streps and other plants, as can be seen in this Begonia Silver Lace. The damage typically manifests as small or large irregular holes in the middle of the leaves.

Look under the leaves to find the offending caterpillars (and remove them by hand). They do move on, so do a thorough check on neighbouring plants as well.

If the plant has plenty of leaves, you can tidy it up by removing the unsightly ones.
